A $100 non-refundable retainer is required to hold a date. All newborn sessions take place Monday-Friday at 10 am at my Medford studio. Newborns are best photographed within the first 16 days of life. Please book whilst in your 3rd trimester to ensure a date in the diary. All newborn sessions take place in my Medford, NJ studio.

Frequently Asked Questions

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY SESSION?: To be sure of a date in the diary I would highly recommend scheduling your session within your third trimester.
WHAT IF I BOOK A SESSION AND THE BABY ARRIVES EARLY/LATE?: This happens! we will reschedule your session accordingly.
HOW OLD SHOULD THE BABY BE?: Newborn sessions are best within the first 16 days, this is when they are the most sleepy and flexible, allowing us to achieve the beautiful newborn poses.
HOW LONG IS THE NEWBORN SESSION, WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?: Newborn photography sessions are about 3 hours. This allows plenty of time for breaks for feeding, changing, and some cuddles.

You will need to try and keep the baby awake as much as possible before the session ( a nice warm bath helps with this) we want the baby nice and sleepy when he/she arrives.

Please feed the baby as soon as you arrive, getting their belly nice and full.

Please dress the baby in easy to remove, loose-fitting clothes (nothing that needs to go over the head) and place the diaper on looser than normal, this will prevent lines on the baby's skin.
CAN I INCORPORATE SPECIAL PROPS?: Absolutely, If you have anything sentimental props you would like to include in the session you are more than welcome to bring them along. Please let me know ahead of time what you are bringing so I can get ideas of how to incorporate it in the best way.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?: Within 5 days of your session, you will receive your viewing galley. This gallery will contain between 40-60 unedited images.

You will receive your final, edited images within 10 days of you letting me know that you have completed your selection. If you require an image for a birth announcement I will edit that 1 image and send it to you within a day or two.
